A Charlie Brown Christmas

I never have outgrown watching the Schulz holiday specials, especially A Charlie Brown Christmas. I know it has something to do with tradition and familiarity. I've made it a personal official start of the holiday season (along with White Christmas). I like happy sound of the Vince Guaraldi Trio playing.
But as I watched A Charlie Brown Christmas last night I had a revelation. I think I identify a little with Charlie Brown - Always rooting for the underdog, the feeling that I've always been little bit of a geek, sometimes sad, but never without hope. So I told Corey "You know I think I identify with Charlie Brown." He responded with "You think you're a loser?"
Oh, Good Grief!

Potty humor

One of the guys in the office brought in a device that makes realistic fart sounds. Juvenile. Yet we all laughed. I'm sure Freud would have something to say about it, but it's interesting that we never seem to outgrow potty humor.

This morning, the thermometer read 41 degrees. There was frost on the grass and ice on my windshield. I was tempted to put a sweater on my dog. And I have a big dog. I decided against it because I was running late (as usual) though I'm sure she would have appreciated it. She sits 6 inches from the wall heater in the bathroom when the house is 70 degrees. God forbid we actually live somewhere where it snows. Then I'd have to get her a doggy jacket and doggy booties.
If you'd like to see what she looks like, here's a link to her dogster site - http://www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?j=t&i=15174&PHPSESSID=6cb6a25b4c5eedee51f71385f22e4772
